How to install presets in Adobe Camera Raw & Photoshop

Quick answer
In Photoshop, open Filter → Camera Raw Filter… (or open a RAW file), click the Presets icon, open the ⋯ menu, choose Import Profiles & Presets…, and select the .xmp files. They then appear in Camera Raw's Presets panel.

Step by step
Open Camera Raw
In Photoshop, choose Filter → Camera Raw Filter…, or open a RAW file so Camera Raw opens.
Open Presets
Click the Presets icon (two overlapping circles) in the right-hand toolbar.
Import
Click ⋯ and choose Import Profiles & Presets…, then select the .zip from your download and click Open.
Apply
Click a preset to apply it; use the Amount slider to soften it.
Troubleshooting
Do presets imported in Camera Raw show up in Lightroom Classic?
Yes. On the same computer both apps share one preset folder, so restart Lightroom Classic and they appear (unless "Store presets with this catalog" is turned on).
