Who these presets are for
Film cameras shaped how we remember things: the grain, the soft highlights, the slightly-off colour of a roll that sat in a drawer too long. Analog Ragnarok brings that feeling to digital photos, with looks modelled on Agfa APX, Fuji Pro 400H, Superia, Neo and instant film.
Each stock comes in several versions (standard, aged, expired, faded, cross-processed, high and low contrast), so you can pick the exact mood for a set. Two film overlays are included for real grain in Photoshop.

How to install Analog Ragnarok

Import into Lightroom
Follow the steps below. Installation instructions are also in the download.

Click, then fine-tune
Apply a preset, then adjust exposure and white balance to suit each photo.
Lightroom Classic (7.3 and later)
- Open the Develop module.
- In the Presets panel, click +, then Import Presets…
- Select the .xmp files (or the ZIP) and click Import. Lightroom Classic 15 no longer accepts .lrtemplate files, so always use the .xmp folder.
Lightroom desktop & Lightroom mobile
- Lightroom desktop: open a photo in Edit, click Presets, then ⋯ › Import Presets… and choose the .xmp files. They sync to mobile when you're signed in.
- Lightroom mobile: save the files to your phone, open a photo, tap Presets › Yours › ⋯ › Import Presets, and pick the files.
Adobe Camera Raw
- Open a photo in Camera Raw and go to the Presets panel.
- Open the ⋯ menu, choose Import Profiles & Presets… and select the .xmp files.
Older Lightroom (4, 5, 6, Classic up to 7.2)

If you own a DSLR such as the Sony A7R, these presets will turn your camera into a believable analog camera. I prefer to add more grain, and I have some PSD overlays to enhance the vintage effect, such as adding hairlines. I love that it works flawlessly with almost any type of photo; I even used it on an image I downloaded from Google and it still worked wonderfully. Definitely worth the investment.

I'm one of the lucky few who received a free review copy of Analog Ragnarok. It is vintage, filmic, aesthetic, rustic, and everything in between. It includes some of the coolest black & white presets I have ever used. Every one of its presets is very capable, and I believe they could be used for wedding photography as well. I know there are a lot of other presets dedicated to wedding photography, but honestly this is an amazing option for so many purposes.

I love the way it mimics the photo you’d get from old cameras. It’s more of a ‘gimmicky’ trendy thing in my opinion, there are apps you can get to achieve the same effects but none quite like this especially when you can adjust the exposure, grain and more through Adobe Lightroom. Easily one of my favorite presets!
